This bread box is bench-built in our Wisconsin shop using native solid hardwood. It is smoothly finished with strong, neat joinery, yet is fitted and shaped to reflect the work and tooling of an 18th century craftsman. It is individually unique.

• All joints are glued and nailed, with no exposed nail holes.
• The door frame is lap-jointed for strength.
• The Rustic tin panel is a true rusted finish.
• The wood has 3 coats of paint under a coat of clear, flat cabinet lacquer. This produces a finish that is very durable and easy to clean, yet retains the look of an aged antique.
• Outside dimensions: 16 3/4" wide  X  9 3/4" high X  12 3/4" deep, with a 5" ledge on top.
